The five devices that will make you feel like you’re in the future

2) Temperature Control

For users who want smart cooling but no
central air conditioning, or who just want to
cool one room in order to cut down on
costs, the Aros window unit by Quirky and
GE covers it all. Not only does it follow the
user’s schedule, but it also learns about the
user’s habits and proposes how to alter the
settings. It can also turn itself off when the
user leaves his or her house, and turn back
when the user comes back – based on the
user’s cell phone’s GPS – so the user can
get the ideal temperature when he or she
enters the house.
